Platform Canopy

Attention: open in a new window. PDFPrintE-mail

The platform canopy is built in much the same way as all of the other buildings, but it is built using small plastic tube for the support legs and standard hexagonal computer stand offs for the base of the posts. This was done so that fiber optics can be feed up through the board for lighting.

It was built two in modules and can basically be assembled into any pattern (provided you don't get board cutting out the ribs).

The top is formed using a printed-paper texture of lead (complete with mold and dirt runs). And I have left holes for skylights which I will construct later once I have them worked out.
